Import a project
To create a new code review project, the code needs to be imported from a Git repository. The following things are done during the import:
MergeBoard is configured to have access to the source code of your repository.
Your Git hoster is configured to send webhooks when new commits are pushed.
Optionally, MergeBoard connects to the issue tracker of your Git hoster. This allows you to refer directly to the issues of your project management tool in merge requests. This step can also be performed manually at any time later.
The steps to import a project differ depending on which Git hoster you are using. If you don’t find your Git hoster in the list, select Other Git Hoster.
